Eric, a Senior Attorney at Centre Law, has extensive experience in developing strategies for and managing all stages of complex multi-million dollar complex commercial, intellectual property, and government contracts matters in various state and federal courts from commencement through trial. In addition, Eric successfully briefed and argued appeals in the federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals and New York appellate courts.
Eric, who has been a trusted legal advisor to many businesses throughout his career, has also lectured extensively on litigation, intellectual property, and federal procurement issues to government agencies, industry groups and the American Bar Association.
In 2010, Eric obtained one of the largest non-negligence related verdicts in Virginia.

- Thomas Computer Solutions, Inc. v. L-3 (2010): obtained multi-million dollar verdict on behalf of subcontractor for payment of indirect cost invoices.
- Terry v. Ashcroft, 336 F.3d 128 (2d Cir 2003): briefed and argued appeal against the Government successfully reversing trial court decision dismissing claims under federal employment discrimination laws.
- Peters v. Baldwin Union Free Sch. Dist., 320 F.3d 164 (2d Cir 2002): briefed appeal defending directed verdict at trial in favor of school district in federal employment discrimination case.
- Patrolmen's Benevolent Ass'n of N.Y. v. City of New York, 310 F.3d 43 (2d Cir 2002): successfully briefed appeal defending seven-figure verdict after trial in favor of dozens of minority police officers in groundbreaking case against the City of New York for systematic discrimination.
- Gutman v. Klein, --- F.Supp.2d --- (E.D.N.Y. 2010): discovered systematic electronic spoliation by Defendant which let to multi-million dollar judgment in favor of client.
- Euro-Cut, Inc. v. Futersak, 476 F. Supp.2d 218 (E.D.N.Y. 2007): conducted preliminary injunction hearing against former employee who stole multi-million dollar account from client.
- FragranceNet.com, Inc. v. FragranceX.com, Inc., 68 A.D.3d 1051 (2d Dep't 2009): successfully briefed and argued appeal dismissing $10 million punitive damages claim.
- Washington Group, LLC, v. Adams, 2008 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 2727 (2d Dep't 2008): successfully briefed and argued appeal denying opposing party attorneys' fees under a lease agreement.
- Adams v. Washington Group, LLC, 2008 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 2788 (2d Dep't 2008): successfully briefed and argued appeal denying opposing party attorneys' fees under a lease agreement.
- Levin v. Isayeu, 27 A.D.3d 425 (2d Dep't 2006): successfully briefed and argued an appeal reversing trial court decision holding that individual corporate officer could be liable for multi-million dollar claim.
- Gutman v. Klein, 26 A.D.3d 464 (2d Dep't 2006): successfully briefed and argued appeal affirming trial court decision sustaining claims in constructive trust and attachment in multi-million dollar real estate scheme.
- Walker v. Caldor, Inc., 309 A.D.2d 859 (2d Dep't 2003): successfully briefed appeal defending trial court decision denying summary judgment.
- Mendez v. Town of Islip, 307 A.D.2d 917 (2d Dep't 2003): successfully briefed appeal reversing jury trial determination apportioning 65% liability to Town of multi-million dollar claim.
- Antoniadis v. Stamatopoulos, 300 A.D.2d 84 (1st Dep't 2002): successfully briefed appeal reversing trial court order dismissing case because colleague arrived to courtroom late.
- Dono v. Bar Biz Rest. & Equip. Corp., 292 A.D.2d 494 (2d Dep't 2002): successfully briefed and argued appeal sustaining trial court decision allowing liability against bar for stabbing.
- Lahage v. Batrouni, 289 A.D.2d 301 (2d Dep't 2001): successfully briefed appeal reversing trial court decision dismissing claim for payment under a promissory note.
